Behind the print

Our print stack

The inks, blanks, machines and checks behind a print that lasts.

A print is only as good as everything behind it — the ink, the blank, the machine, the cure and the checks. This is the stack we run so that what reaches you looks right and stays right.

Inks & consumables

We use the right consumable for each method: water-based inks for soft, breathable direct-to-garment prints; film and hot-melt adhesive for durable transfers on any fabric; sublimation dyes that bond into polyester; polyester threads for embroidery; plus specialty inks — puff additive, phosphorescent (glow), reflective and UV — for the effects that need them. Skin-contact inks are chosen to be safe and wash-fast.

Blanks & fabrics

Every print starts on a good blank. Our range spans combed cotton, polyester and cotton-poly blends across more than 150 styles and their full size runs. Fabric decides method: cotton favours DTG and screen; polyester needs sublimation; dark and mixed fabrics favour film transfers. We match the two so the print sits right on the cloth.

Machines & pre-treatment

Cotton garments are pre-treated so ink bonds instead of sitting on the surface. From there the job goes to the right press — industrial direct-to-garment and film printers, screen carousels, multi-head embroidery machines, heat presses and sublimation calendars for apparel; UV flatbeds and laser engravers for hard goods.

Curing & finishing

This is the step most cut-price printers rush. Ink is heat-cured at the correct temperature and time so it locks into the fabric — the single biggest factor in how many washes a print survives. Pieces are then finished and de-linted before inspection.

Quality control

Files are checked before printing for resolution, placement and colour; finished pieces are inspected for print quality, colour and position; and a person signs off each order before it is packed. Made to order means every item is individual, so every item is looked at.

Wash & care — making it last

The durability numbers on our print-tech page assume proper care. To get the full life from any print:

By durability: sublimation and embroidery are effectively permanent; screen and DTF pass 50 and 40–50 washes; DTG lasts 40–50 with the softest feel; puff and glow reward the gentlest care.

Kinder by default

Because we print only what is ordered, there is no overproduced stock to throw away. Made to order isn't only about quality — it means we make the piece you asked for, and only that.
